Based upon its previous surveys, AILIV is organizing an Indian Summer Camp during the last two weeks of August, 2010 (August 16 to August 27) in collaboration with the West Essex YMCA. As the name suggests, this camp will be ethno-centric, mainly focused on Indian culture and sports. The cost for this camp will be $250 per week with a 5% disount for additional children from the same family. Those who are not members of AILIV will pay an extra $50 per week.
The regular camp hours will be from 9 am to 4 pm. However, we will provide for early drop-off (7:30 am) and late pick-ups (6 pm) for $50 per week. At this time, we are inclined to offer the camp for kids in the age groups 6 -13. However, please do indicate the ages of all the children that you would like to enroll. We will advise you based upon the responses received.
To organize this camp, we need volunteers. We encourage high school junior and senior kids as well college kids to volunteer. We will provide training to those selected for the job. AILIV will give them a community service certificate at the end of the program.
