Diwali Mela 2009
AILIV organized its first Diwali Mela on October 4, 2009 at the YMCA grounds in Livingston. We were blessed with fabulous weather in a week that otherwise had a fair amount of rain. We were humbled by a large turnout of Indians and non-Indians alike throughout the day. Here are video clips from some of the cultural performances at the Mela.
